MORE-THAN-ONE STARTUP TABS FOR
IE and FIREFOX
Well this little IE trick has been around for some time but I thought it was worth mentioning again since it is so simple to do and really appealing! Today we’re going to learn how to make it so when you start IE all of your daily sites come up in their own tabs!
Open Internet Explorer 8 and click Tools then Internet Options.
(In Internet Explorer 9 click the cog icon in the upper right-hand corner.)
Make sure the General tab is selected and under Home Page type in the addresses of the sites you want to open up when you start IE.
Now click OK and re-open Internet Explorer and voila! You should see all 3 tabs open up looking something like this:
For Firefox 5.0If the classic menus (File, Edit, View, etc.) are visible, under the Tools menu, select Options.
Otherwise, click the orange Firefox button and select Options from the sub-menu. If you’d like the classic menus displayed, just below Options, place a check beside Menu Bar.
In Options, under the General tab, click the Use Current Pages button.
Then add the address of each page required separated by a vertical bar ‘|‘ character as shown.
And that's all there is to it!
