Unblocking 'US-Only' Youtube VideosI'm sure we've all been there - some more than others - wanting to watch that video only to discover it's blocked in your country. Even we get it here in Canada, albeit, not as often.
Anyways, we got so frustrated with viewers writing to us about not being able to view our videos in their countries that we have decided to look into a solution... to see if there was one. We came across Prox Tube.
ProxTube will fix the problem by unblocking all US-only videos for anyone to see.
ProxTube is essentially an extension that automatically routes your YouTube traffic through a proxy server in the US, so YouTube thinks you're visiting the site from a US location.
System requirements are for Firefox version 4 or higher, Chrome version 10 or higher.
Unfortunately at the moment, there is no version for other browsers.
We are currently waiting to find that - US-Only video that we want to watch but can't - so we can test it out for ourselves! In the meantime, try it out and let us know!
