I also use Spybot Search and Destroy along with Emisoft's Anti-Malware, (both of which are free), for anti-spyware and adware. It is a good idea to use at least 2 or more as each program has its own data base and targets specific threats.
A good site to also check for Rogue Anti-Spyware Products and Websites is at spywarrior.com. They have a list of sites to check for recent rogue anti-spyware applications.
