Sitting Too Long Can Be Deadly, Even if You Exercise!

I don't get it sometimes, if you stand all day at your job you are at greater risk of getting health problems such as varicose veins, poor circulation and swelling in the feet and legs, foot problems, back problems, joint damage, heart and circulatory problems and pregnancy difficulties. Now they are saying sitting too long can kill?

That's it! From now on I'm going to LAY DOWN and work!

Sitting all day may significantly boost the risk of disease even for those who exercise regularly, say scientists who suggest that our bodies were simply not designed to sit all day.

While we've long been told that sedentary lifestyles are not healthy, many have assumed that maintaining a healthy weight and exercising a few times a week is enough to offset the time spent on our rear ends.
